Every number that matters.
This is the Financial Clarity Dashboard — your shop's instrument panel. Enter one month of numbers and it lights up: six gauges, a 30-day cash forecast, margin by job type, and how honest your flat-rate quotes are.
THE REAL DASHBOARD, RECREATED FOR THE WEB · NUMBERS SHOWN ARE AN EXAMPLE MONTH
What each panel tells you
Six gauges, one glance
Revenue, gross margin, callback rate, cost per truck, average ticket, and break-even — each with how it moved since last month. Green means better. Red means look closer.
Cash flow, 30 days out
Expected inflows minus payroll, parts, and overhead — projected from your own recent months. If you're on pace to spend more than you bring in, it says so in plain English.
Margin & quote accuracy
Margin per job type shows which work pays and which quietly doesn't. Flat-rate accuracy shows where jobs run longer than you quote — and what to change.
It tells you what it doesn't know
- Labeled limits. Job margins are labor-only until parts are tracked per job — so the dashboard says exactly that, right on the panel. No number pretends to be smarter than your data.
- Projections from your actuals. The cash forecast is built from your own recent months — and shows you which ones.
- Color means something. Green is money made, red is money lost. Nothing is colored for decoration.
- Flags come with a fix. Every red number gets one plain-English sentence about what to do — raise a price, re-quote hours, chase different work.
