About

A small crew,
on purpose.

Krew-Ops builds one thing: financial clarity for solo HVAC operators. Not a suite. Not a platform. One console that answers the three questions that keep an operator up at night.

01 / Why this exists

Great at the trade, flying blind on the money

Most solo HVAC operators are excellent at the work and honest with their customers — and still can't say, on any given Tuesday, whether the business made money last month. Not because they can't do math, but because nobody built the math for how a one-person shop actually runs.

The tools that exist assume you have a bookkeeper, an office manager, or evenings free to fight a spreadsheet. So the real questions — when do I run out of cash, when do I break even, which jobs actually pay — go unanswered, and pricing gets set by gut feel and whatever the guy across town charges.

Krew-Ops is our answer: a console that takes about five minutes a month and gives back plain-English numbers you can act on from the truck. We're building it with real operators, starting in Phoenix, Arizona — where HVAC isn't a side business, it's survival.

02 / How we operate

The rules we build by

  • Plain answers over reports. Days of runway. A break-even count. Margin per job. If a number needs a manual to read, it doesn't ship.
  • Honest numbers, labeled limits. When the math has a blind spot, the dashboard says so on the panel — it never pretends to know more than your data.
  • One flat price. $99/month, every feature, no tiers. We'd rather earn a renewal than engineer an upsell.
  • Your numbers stay yours. No selling data, no lead-gen games. You pay for the tool; that's the whole business.
  • Nothing fake, ever. No stock-photo technicians, no invented reviews. What you see on this site is the real product — and testimonials will appear only when real customers say something worth quoting.

The people behind the console

Co-founder · Frontend & product

I started in wealth management, jumped into startups — one as an early employee, one built from the ground up — and landed in strategic FP&A, helping leadership teams turn financial data into decisions.

My brother owns an HVAC business. Watching him build it from nothing, I saw what owner-operators are up against: pricing on gut feel, no visibility into which jobs actually make money, cash flow that's more reaction than plan — not because they aren't sharp, but because nobody ever handed them the toolkit companies twenty times their size take for granted. Krew-Ops closes that gap, translating enterprise FP&A rigor into something an owner can use on a Tuesday afternoon between jobs.

Co-founder · Backend & infrastructure

I spent three years at BD (Becton Dickinson) across revenue, strategic initiatives, and M&A, then consulted at Deloitte on engagement pricing and margin forecasting. My work has always sat where financial modeling meets systems — driver-based forecasts, scenario planning, and the reporting infrastructure underneath them.

At Krew-Ops I build the product and own the financial logic inside it: the same discipline, rebuilt for businesses that need the analysis but don't have a finance team to produce it.

Content & community

I spent four years as a registered nurse — kidney dialysis, the pediatric neuro-renal unit at Phoenix Children's, and two tribal reservations in Arizona. My first week, the complexity was overwhelming. What got me through was a preceptor who could explain anything without ever making me feel small for not knowing it. I've been trying to be that person ever since. I later returned to ASU for a degree in marketing, wanting to understand the business side of how things actually work.

At Krew-Ops I run content and community. Finance has a way of making people feel like they should already understand it, and owners end up nodding along instead of asking the question they actually have. My job is to make sure that never happens here — that everything we write meets people where they are, and that being a customer feels like having someone in your corner rather than someone selling to you.
